This week was a big one.A few months ago, I genuinely thought I might never run properly again. Every attempt ended with my calf pulling, and it felt like I was going backwards.This week, I stuck to the plan. Rehab, Achilles strengthening, patience, and consistency. The result? New PBs and my first pain-free 5K.Proof that progress isn’t always about doing more, it’s about doing the right things, consistently.What are your wins from this week? Today’s rehab run - I picked up the pace a little. All felt in order. All felt good. Not my smartest week 🫠Got home from America, ignored the plan, went and absolutely leathered a hill session because I’m a dick. Wasn’t the brightest idea.Thankfully… the calf held up. That was actually the biggest win of the week.I’ve also made the call to defer my Ironman until 2027.Not because I can’t finish, but because I’d rather build properly than juggle too many goals badly.This week looked like:🏃 Running - some good some mad. 🎒 Hike over Mam Tor🚣 Ski, row, bike🏋️ Strength🦵 Rehab😴 Finally sleeping again⚖️ Somehow 184lb this morning…The lesson this week?Fitness isn’t built by one mega session.It’s built by stacking weeks together without having to keep starting again.Next week…Stick to the bloody plan. 😂And eat. I’m back home from World Cup 2026 - not early for all those asking - was always the plan to come home today. I am well aware of how lucky I am to be able to cover such events, even if sometimes I feel like I take it for granted. Had some great experiences while out in LA - managed to attend 4 World Cup games, too which if I’m honest isn’t something I’d ever have believed. And this is my second World Cup! Best part, though? Honestly. It’s working with a really good team with @rioferdinandpresents - I may have a grumpy face. But I loved working with you all. Hope you enjoyed the content! I’ve kept the Cowboy boots 🥶 🤠 by @mrstephenhowson
