🎬 Sita Ramam (2022)

It is a romantic drama directed by Hanu Raghavapudi, starring Dulquer Salmaan and Mrunal Thakur. Set against the backdrop of the 1960s, the film follows Lieutenant Ram, an orphaned soldier whose quiet life changes when he begins receiving anonymous love letters from a woman named Sita. What starts as a mysterious exchange slowly turns into a timeless love story filled with longing, sacrifice, fate, and memories that refuse to fade.

The story moves between past and present, as Afreen, a young woman with no connection to Ram and Sita’s world, is entrusted with delivering a letter that was never meant to be forgotten. Her journey slowly uncovers the truth behind Ram and Sita’s relationship — a love that was never ordinary, yet was never given the chance to have an ordinary ending.

What makes Sita Ramam so unforgettable is the way it turns a simple love story into something deeply emotional. From handwritten letters and stolen glances to separation, misunderstandings, and sacrifice, every moment feels like a memory from another lifetime. Ram and Sita’s love is gentle, poetic, and devastating in the most beautiful way.

The film has been widely praised for its cinematography, music, performances, and emotional storytelling. Rather than relying only on romance, Sita Ramam explores devotion, destiny, duty, and the painful truth that sometimes loving someone means letting them become a part of your memory forever.
