💔🕊I'm sitting here still in complete shock, That a week ago, you departed your earthly body, and God called you home. This just doesn't feel real. We just talked!

I'm really not ok. Pop, I can't stop crying. But I know you're in a better place, and you're not in any pain, no more meds. Pop, you are in God's hands now. I can't even express how much you mean to me.😢

I hope you know how much I love you. I hope I was a good son, cause you were and great Dad. You have always made me feel loved and special. You have always told me that Jay and I were the 2 best parts of your life. Thank you for making me the man I'm me today & all of our memories, life lessons, ass whippings, lectures, phone calls, laughters, love, support, and so much more. I'm going to miss you so much.

The last time I talked to you, knowing that would have been the last time I heard your voice, I would have never hung up the phone. I love you so much, Pop❤️

A Letter to My Destiny,

For the past 18 years, you have given my life purpose. You are an answered prayer.

It wasn’t always easy, but it was always beautiful.

As we close the chapter on your childhood, I pray that when you look back, it is filled with memories of love, joy, laughter, and adventure. I am grateful for every single moment of you. You are my greatest joy and my sweetest blessing.

You healed parts of me that I knew were broken, and even parts of me I didn’t know needed healing. You pushed me to become the very best version of myself because you deserved the very best version of me.

As we open the chapter of your adulthood, I pray that you find your way and never be afraid to dream big. I pray that you chase every dream that lives in your heart. Be kind to yourself. Give yourself grace. Make mistakes, but most importantly, learn from them.

Find joy in EVERYTHING, especially during the moments when joy feels the hardest to find.

Love out loud. Not just romantically, but in your friendships and in every relationship that matters to you. Love the people who love you. Cherish those who show up for you.

You are brilliant. Trust yourself. ALWAYS.

And most of all, sweet girl, know that I am always here. Any day, any time, no matter what. There is nothing you will ever face alone as long as I am here.

Happy 18!! My Princess Kiddo. Happy Birthdayyyyyyy!!!!!

Wow, you're 18 years of age! I remember the first time I held you in my arms, and I looked at you just so amazed you were so small and beautiful. No, you're a senior ,driving, and still so beautiful. An back all the way 18 years ago, I knew you were going to be great. Daddy loves you!

Today is such a special day. Baby girl your officially 18 and becoming a young lady. I honestly can’t put into words how proud I am of you and the young woman you have become.

I remember you always riding an hanging with me, no matter where I was going. And now look at you… my personal chauffeur! 😂❤️ Time really does fly.

Kiddo, you have shown us time and time again just how awesome, strong, loving, and amazing you are. Keep being YOU. Continue to learn, grow, love the things you enjoy, have fun, and most importantly, be safe. You are walking into some of the best years of your life, and I want you to enjoy every moment of them.

Always pay attention to your surroundings, trust your gut, and never ignore that feeling inside when something doesn’t feel right. Remember the life lessons we have tried to instill in you and carry them with you wherever life takes you.

Most importantly, be proud of the woman you are today. You have overcome obstacles, grown so much, and become someone I’m truly proud to call my daughter.

Today is my kiddo’s 18th birthday, and I couldn’t be happier or more proud.

Happy “last” first day of school to the joy of my life. It’s unfair how fast time moves. When you walked into school on the first day of kindergarten, I really had no idea what the future would hold for us. I knew who I wanted you to be but you have exceeded my wildest dreams of you. You are so beautiful, truly kind, a dedicated friend, a hard worker (sometimes too hard), so very smart, you’re absolutely perfect! I’m in love with the young woman you have become. You bring me so much joy and fill me with so much pride. I can’t believe you’re mine!!! Enjoy this last year baby girl! Continue to be great, make memories, laugh a lot, cry when you need to, make good choices, but most of all, remember that mommy and daddy got you!! We will always support you, push you, and pick you up when you fall. We love you so very much Monkey. Happy senior year 🥹💕✨

Strong. Fearless. Determined. 💪🏽🥷

Jackson had the BEST time at Kinetic Ninja Warrior Camp! He and his BFF spent the week climbing, jumping, and conquering obstacle courses. Every day was full of fun, confidence-building, and nonstop adventure. Watching him challenge himself, make new friends, and leave each day with the biggest smile made this mama’s heart so happy. ❤️

It took me an entire week to recover from this Ninja training party! It was complete chaos in the best way!! They jumped, they had water fights, they met a real ninja, and sugared themselves up for the summer!! When Jackson requested this theme, I had no idea where to start, but it was perfect for him and his high energy little crew!

Thank you to EVERYONE for making his special day so very special!! Thank you for the gifts, the calls, the texts, the abundance of love!!

A super special to the Nash crew. Daddy and Destiny, you guys were AMAZING!! From planning to decorating and ensuring the party never stopped. Destiny was in full big sister mode. She also teaches part-time at Jackson’s school, so her students loved driving her crazy on a Saturday. She was amazing as always ❤️✨

To my mommy and my girls… @ypastor2001 @jenbunnae @theoriginalindia, as usual, you were there from the very beginning, jumping in where needed and making sure I didn’t go completely crazy. Like every crazy idea I have, I couldn’t have done it without you ❤️✨

Jackson said, “This is like Christmas,” and my heart melted. The smile on his face as he drifted off to sleep makes all of the crazy worth it!!
