💛 My heart is a little extra full today.

I've been a lil homesick lately, so having my mom, sister, and besties in town to celebrate our Moriah was just what my heart needed.

There was a time when we all lived in Colorado, and Sunday dinners (followed by Sunday naps 😂), game nights, and a whole lot of laughter were just part of life. I don't think I realized back then how much I'd miss those ordinary moments. 😭

Living so far away from your people is HARD. But days like today make the distance a little easier. Getting to worship together, share a meal, fellowship, laugh, and celebrate our girl... it felt like a little piece of home. ❤️

🖤 Quick shoutout & update on y’all’s nephew!

I don’t share nearly as many pics/videos of Darius anymore because he’s a freshman now & doesn’t care for it. And since a bunch of his friends follow me (cuz I’m a cool mom, obviously 🤣), I try to respect that!

But just know he’s still AMAZING! Still kind, still humble & still puttin’ in work! 💪

So proud of this fella & just soaking up every minute. I remember the days I prayed for this. 🙏
