SAVE THE DATE: THURSDAY, OCT. 15, 5-7PM

Join us for an intimate evening in our Capitol Hill showroom to experience Bascule, the new lounge chair from @vitra

Developed in collaboration with @studio__oe and launched during @3daysofdesign Bascule combines the relaxed aesthetic of a loose-fitting fabric cover with a new Vitra seat mechanism that allows automatic weight adjustment.

To celebrate the launch, we're hosting a special wellness-focused event featuring a talk with @jamesrosecoaching on the psychology of relaxation, wellness drinks from @mysantelife and a new custom mix curated by Vitra.

Bascule is now on view in our Capitol Hill showroom.

RSVP required. rsvp@mr.studio

From gossamer, oil, metal, clay, fabrics, glass, stone and more— LACMA presented art in the most elegant and human ways, wrapped in wandering concrete protection. Jaw-dropping beauty and can’t wait to return.

Chair obsession- and lovely progression of curves and lines from the negative space of Ruth Asawa and Alexander Calder to the meticulous woodworking and simplicity of the Shakers. Plus my favorite— wild chairs.
