@tampico.ghana I think you could have done better.
For example,

1. If it’s 5km, it should be 5km. Please plan the route properly.
2. There could have been better communication regarding the route, and there should have been people to guide slower runners and even runners who arrived late.
3. The hydration points could have been a bit closer, especially for the 21km race.
4. You knew how many people were going to participate. That was the whole point of registration. So the refreshments and other things runners were expecting should have been properly catered for.
5. I think we could have received our medals as we crossed the finish line. It would have made the experience much better.
6. Lastly, I think running longer distances should come with a little more recognition. Why should a 21km runner have the same outfit or even the same medal as me, a 5km runner? There should be some distinction between the different race categories to recognize the different distances and achievements. Otherwise, it’s just demoralizing.

All in all, everything could have been done better. I hope that if you ever decide to organize another race, it’ll be wayyy better than this. by @ms.asaaba
