Hi everyone! I wanted to reintroduce myself! My name is Catalina de Atienza aka Ms. Cata✨✨

A little background about me: I began my dance training at South Florida Ballet at the age of four. I earned acceptances into summer intensive programs in ballet companies such as ABT, Joffery Ballet, The Rock School for Dance Education, San Francisco Ballet, Miami City Ballet, Orlando Ballet, Pennsylvania Ballet, Next Generation Ballet and others. I attended Joffrey Ballet Summer Intensive with scholarship, where I was offered the opportunity at a spot in Joffery Ballet’s Trainee Program.

I continued my dance career on St. Brendan High School’s Sabrettes Dance Team where we earned many titles such as first at UDA Nationals! Such an unforgettable moment⭐️

I am thrilled to continue to show my passion for dance through teaching! I currently am the assistant coach for the nationally ranked Riviera Preparatory’s Middle, JV, and Varsity Dance Team. Our Varsity is currently ranked 5th in the nation for HipHop at UDA Nationals 2026! So exciting!💘

I’m also the choreographer for Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Elementary School’s Performing Arts Department where I lead the middle school Jaguarettes Dance Team. I teach all the OLOL dance elective classes during school hours🐾

Come join the fun! Dms are open for private & group coaching, choreography, guest teaching, etc. So excited to work with your dancer🩵✨ by @ms.cata_

Our first Summer Spotlight is…

Sophia!

Let’s keep working towards those goals💘
