Ambitious and daring, Digger is original but not perfect, showing an incredible performance from Tom Cruise. #tomcruise #digger #moviereview #warnerbros #alejandrogonzáleziñárritu by @ms.filmingo

The Debut was hilarious and definitely a crowd-pleaser, featuring a spectacular performance from Julianne Moore. She’s going for that second Oscar! The Debut opens in limited theaters on December 11 and nationwide on Christmas Day. Go see it!

Some of the stuff I got was free, while other items I purchased. I especially love the pins I got, they’ll be a great addition to my collection.

Lots of fun movie merch!

Disappointing is the best way to describe Michael Showalter’s adaptation of Colleen Hoover’s Verity.

Another amazing year at @newyorkcomiccon

I love the memories I make at NYCC, and this year was extra special because I got to experience it with my friends! Being able to share the experience, live in the moment, and nerd out together over the things we love made it even more enjoyable. There were so many fun booths and goodies to check out, and luckily, I managed to pick up some great finds without breaking the bank.

The panels I attended, Ghostface Forever: 30th Anniversary of SCREAM, Violent Night 2, and BLUMFEST 2026, were outstanding.

Scream is my all-time favorite horror film, so getting to see some of the cast come together to discuss the making of the film and its impact was phenomenal. Hearing their stories and insights made the experience even more special.

Next up was Violent Night 2, a sequel I've been eagerly anticipating, and it looks like it's going to be an absolute banger! Director Tommy Wirkola promises a bigger, crazier adventure for Santa Claus, played by David Harbour, with Kristen Bell joining the cast as Mrs. Claus.

I always love BLUMFEST, and getting to see the trailer for The Exorcist: Martyrs, directed by Mike Flanagan, was epic! It looks absolutely unbelievable, and I can't wait to see it. On top of that, hearing about all the exciting upcoming projects revealed at BLUMFEST has me even more hyped. My little horror heart is so excited to see them all.

It was a fabulous day filled with amazing memories, great panels, and plenty of nerdy fun. Hopefully, I'll be back again next year.

Finally, Happy 20th anniversary, NYCC!

The Stunt Driver, directed and written by Michael Dowse, had its world premiere at TIFF 2026 as part of the Special Presentations selection; it is a solid but not memorable watch, though Jay Baruchel gives a great performance.

After seeing all four adaptations and reading the source material, this is my definitive ranking of all of Colleen Hoover’s book-to-screen adaptations.

Now that all four adaptations have been released, it also feels like a good time to pause on all of them as a whole. I do wonder which book will be adapted next. I’m still disappointed with how Verity turned out.

September has come to a close, and it was pretty special and epic.

Getting to attend @tiff_net was one of the best experiences of my life; I saw incredible films, and, of course, my favorite watch was a horror film directed by @msannabiller, The Face of Horror.

But lots of exciting films are set to be released in October, so let's see what spooky season has to offer.

Yesterday, I checked out Verity, directed by Michael Showalter, which is based on the book by Colleen Hoover; did the results deliver? No, full review coming soon.

Tangles, directed by Leah Nelson and based on the graphic novel, is a must-watch; Tangles does a delicate and brilliant job exploring Alzheimer's disease. This needs to be nominated at the Oscars!
