Do you ever get so caught up in one thing that you completely forget about everything else? 🥲

That’s me.

When I’m focused on work, I forget to take care of myself.
When I’m trying to get things done, I put other things on hold.
And by the time I realise it, I’ve already neglected so many other parts of my life.

It’s not something I’m proud of, honestly. I’m still trying to figure out why I do this.

Sometimes, I wish I could just learn to give a little attention to everything instead of going all in on one thing and letting the rest slide.

I know I’m not the only one who does this. And if you’re reading this and thinking, “Oh god, that’s me,” 🥹 maybe we both need this reminder.

Not everything has to be perfect, and not everything needs our attention all at once. But we shouldn’t forget ourselves and the little things that matter along the way.

I’m still learning. One day at a time. ❤️

POV: You spent your 20s taking care of everyone and everything… except your skin. 😂

Business. Orders. Workshops. Content.
Somehow skincare was always like — “nammukku pinne nokkaam.” 🥲

Then I hit my 30s and thought… okay, maybe it’s time to make taking care of myself part of the routine too. 🤍

And then I spotted Kalyani Priyadarshan using Plum’s Niacinamide & Rice Water range 👀
So obviously… curiosity got me. 😂

Tried the face wash + gel moisturizer, and added my SPF for the daytime routine.

Nothing complicated.
Cleanse → Moisturize → Sunscreen.

Because apparently, my 30s skincare era is all about doing less, but actually doing it consistently. ✨

Artists & small business owners… can we talk about this? 🥲

There’s a very specific kind of pain in spending 20–30 minutes (sometimes MUCH longer 😭) discussing a custom order…

Understanding the requirement.
Thinking of ideas.
Checking materials.
Calculating costs.
Making the quotation.
Going back and forth.

And then:

“We decided to go with someone else.” 🙂

And honestly , choosing another vendor is completely okay.
We’re running businesses. Customers should compare and choose what works for them.

But a simple “Hey, we’re still comparing options” can make such a difference.

Because for a handmade business, an enquiry isn’t just a DM.

It’s time. It’s thought. It’s work. 🤍

So, fellow artists/business owners…

What’s the most “🥲 I spent HOW long on this?” experience you’ve had with a client?

I’ll go first: a detailed custom quotation + multiple design options… only to hear “we’ll let you know” and never hear back. 😂
