Jello! My name is Jacinta Ebsworth I am the founder of @ms.knowyourworth. As a Certified Money Coach I explore the why in our relationship with money 🤑 digging into the beliefs, behaviours, and emotions that have shaped our financial life.

Because money isn’t just about figures, it’s how we feel about it. 💜

[ID I’m wearing pink sunglasses with a colourful dress covered in vibrant symbols - eyes, flowers and playful patterns. I’m outside under a bright blue sky with soft clouds, against a backdrop of industrial white panels.]

Millennial to my core. I have been patiently waiting to use these lyrics!

Happy birthday to us! What a ride 🎢 as I float around in the pool of my villa in Thailand with one of my besties, I take none of this for granted ✨

What a gift it is to age 📆

1974 (52 years ago) the Equal Credit Opportunity Act passed in the USA meaning financial institutions couldn’t discriminate against women.

1984 the Sex Discrimination Act passed in Australia (4 years before I was born) making it unlawful for financial institutions to discriminate based on sex or marital status.

Money gives you options. If you didn’t have access to your own money, would you really have options?

An insight into how I approach shopping - analysis paralysis.

Shopping is not where I derive joy from, I see it as a need not a want. I needed to replace my work shoes and my gym shoes because they are a hazard at this point - I will use them till their last breath.

I have been researching shoes for months because I need arch support and I don’t want to waste my money on the wrong type - intentional spender 👋

I realised my memory of enjoying shopping is purely the social aspect when you would go with your girlfriends and it was a whole outing - an experience! 😍

It’s so helpful to get clear on what your priorities are with your money and where you want it to go. Priorities also change with the seasons of your life.

My priority is experiences, hence why I have a travel savings account ✈️ 🤑

Hoo-wee! Have I been on a healing rollercoaster! 🎢

I feel like I have collected the last horcrux on this journey.

This was a major business investment for me as much as it was a personal one. To understand your mind, body and spirit is a gift and a worthy investment.

Healing is not linear, but neither is growth 💜

I am insanely proud of myself for everything I have done and been through to get to this point and will continue to share all the pieces of this puzzle 🧩

The words of our parents leave an imprint on us for the rest of our lives. They shape the way we show up in the world.

As do the words we never heard from them such as “I’m so proud of you”

When I was 16 I was hanging in the backyard with my friend reading magazines and my mum came up said “oh are you girls studying? I’m so proud of you!” I rolled my eyes and looked at my friend and she was beaming, she said “no one’s ever said that to me before” I was in shock 😳 my mum said it to me all the time.

As I’ve grown I have heard countless people say “I want to know my parents are proud of me”

I’m really grateful for my mum 💜

ABSOLUTELY NOT!

Never forget elected officials work for us!

Taking your super out now is robbing you of financial stability in old age when you are much more vulnerable.

How about taxing wealth not work.

EMERGENCY FUND FULL!

I did it! A full 3 month emergency fund! Sound the trumpets 🎺

As a single, childfree woman an emergency fund is financial priority numero uno! 🤑🚨 because I am priority numero uno ✨

“42% of Australians admit they have less than $1,000 in savings - that’s 9.2million people with no financial buffer” - finder.com.au

What are your financial priorities? 💜
