Birthday girl has a lot to be grateful for. Long caption ahead! 🤍🎂

Things haven’t always been easy for me, especially being far away from home. I miss my family every day, and adjusting to a new life takes time. Being unemployed and still figuring out my place in this new chapter of life hasn’t been easy, either. Recently, my husband and I have also been facing a big challenge in our lives. But instead of dwelling on the hardships or complaining about how difficult life can be, I remind myself to be grateful, to count my blessings, and to surrender everything else to God. 🤍

So, on my birthday, I want to take a moment to appreciate not just the blessings of this past year, but everything I’ve been blessed with throughout my entire life.

I thank God for the beautiful life He has given me, for my health, my happiness, and the opportunity to experience another year.

I thank God for the roof over our heads, the bed we sleep in, the food on our table, the clean water we drink, the shoes on our feet, and all the little things we sometimes take for granted.

I thank God for my family, my friends, and all the wonderful people I’ve met along the way. Thank you for the laughter, love, support, and memories we’ve shared.

I thank God for the sunlight, the changing seasons, the fresh air, and the beauty of nature that reminds me how beautiful life can be.

I thank God for all the pets I’ve had throughout my life, and especially for our dog, Calcifer, who brings so much joy, love, and companionship into our home. 🐾

Most of all, I thank God for His forgiveness, guidance, and strength, especially on the days when life feels heavy and I don’t know what comes next.

Another year older, and another year to remind myself that even when life isn’t perfect, there is always something to be grateful for. I may not have everything figured out, but I have so many blessings to count, and for that, my heart is full.

Thank You, Lord, for everything. For what I have, for what I’ve lost, for what You’ve taught me, and for what is yet to come. I surrender it all to You. 🤍🙏🏻 by @ms.mrnel_12
