I used to think God was looking for perfect people.

Now? I don’t believe that anymore.

I think God is looking for people who are willing.

The ones who take the risk.
The ones who step out scared.
The ones who start the business with $100 in their account.
The ones who audition after hearing “no” a hundred times.
The ones who keep showing up after life knocked them down.

And yeah… sometimes those people cuss.

Sometimes they’re messy.
Sometimes they’re still healing.
Sometimes they don’t have it all together.

I don’t think God is sitting there saying, “I can’t use you because you said a bad word.”

I think He’s asking, “Are you willing to go? Are you willing to trust Me? Are you willing to get back up when you fall?”

Look throughout the Bible. God used people with flaws, people with tempers, people who doubted, people who ran, people who made terrible mistakes. Yet He still used them to change lives.

Perfection has never been the requirement.

Availability has.

That’s why I respect people who are unapologetically themselves. They don’t wait until they’re perfect to chase what God put in them. They move. They learn. They grow. They keep going.

This is just my perspective, but I think God can work with a willing heart a whole lot faster than He can work with someone who’s trying to look perfect for everybody else.

Stop waiting until you think you’re “good enough.”

Sometimes the reason you’re stuck isn’t lack of opportunity… it’s who you refuse to let go of.

Everybody not meant to go where you going.
Some people only know the version of you that stayed small, tolerated disrespect, and played it safe.

Growth is lonely.
Elevation requires separation.
