We woke up together, wrote vows together, got dressed in our home together, and walked down the aisle together. And that’s how we aim to spend what short time we have left ✨together✨

What a privilege to do what the women before me did.
What a privilege to create in a way that can’t be bought or replicated.

She rewrote HER-story in the original Broadway cast, and we’re so excited to watch her do it again! Please give a royal welcome back to Queen Anna Uzele, who will be joining the #SIXBroadway 5.0 cast as Catherine Parr on February 16 💙👑 by @ms.uzele

Like cows out to pasture, we arrived to the A-frame injured and city-battered. For 18 months we sat outside (literally), letting her realign us. Brutally, gently. Winters were deadly, springs were jubilant, chickens were dismembered by raccoons and their pieces scattered like warcrimes, and a baby was born. Our amoral mom with no other aim than to birth & destroy over and over again. And so we too were made new. I learned to run again. I learned that beautiful things are grown so painfully slow that it often looks like nothing is happening.

Thanks to the sticks n dirt for mending us. Onward.

2026 is for humans, not hens.

(don’t worry, the chickens you’ve seen content of are ALIVE & WELL and have been rehomed with our family!) taken in Effort, Pennsylvania by @ms.uzele

Loved this look playing some respect to Anna’s days in @sixbroadway with the blue eye shadow! Like her previous role as Queen Catherine Parr 💙 & a red lip to show love to her role as Francine in Newyork Newyork the musical ! A true iconic combination!
