A Day of Looking Forward! 🎓💙💛
What a pleasure, privilege, and honor to serve as the Faculty Speaker for the Investiture of @ccpprez , the 7th President of the Community College of Philadelphia!
Grateful for the opportunity to represent my faculty colleagues and humbled by the confidence of our President.
My message was simple, yet significant: “As a shepherd, never forget your flock!”
Congratulations, President Marshall! Here’s to leading with purpose and looking forward with great expectation! ✨

Philly, this one is for the leaders.

Octavius Catto believed in showing up, stepping up, and building a city where every young person has a fair shot. More than 150 years later, that work isn’t finished, and it isn’t done alone.

On Saturday, Oct. 10, 2026, Malika Rahman and Community College of Philadelphia invites you to the Octavius Catto Legacy Conference.

We’re calling on:
✅ Nonprofit leaders
✅ Executives & business owners
✅ Funders & grant managers
✅ Principals & educators
✅ Community and civic leaders

Come ready to connect, collaborate, and commit to real investment in Philadelphia’s young people.

Join the panel discussion with some of Philadelphia’s top black non profit leaders:

Garry Mills - Shoot Basketballs NOT People
Ryan Harris - As I Plant A Seed
Yogi Den - Trapdoor Inc
John Soloman - Endangered Kind
Taj Murdock - Men of Courage

Tag a non profit leader, funder, and/or executive who needs to be in this room. Then share this with them. taken in Community College of Philadelphia by @ms_b_great

It was all a dream… now the vision is clear. 👓✨

See boldly. Speak truth. Show up in style.

From the classroom to the pulpit to the community, I love frames that make a statement. These beauties from @zeelool bring clarity, confidence, and a little color to every space I enter.

First the dream. Then the vision. Now the clarity.

The promise that favor will find you is a promise God intends to keep.

Today, favor was found in a foreign land by a familiar face. Thanks to @afriprintzgoods for the beautiful garments and to @deyemitheactor for being a kind soul.
