Deep is the sound of a heart cracking open in the presence of God. It follows Iysa—a girl undone by the cruelty of the world, emptied of love, peace, and self-worth—writing from the ruins of herself, unsure if heaven is still listening pours her ache onto paper not sure if to call it prayer.
