✨ I DID A THING YESTERDAY! ✨
Something BIG. Something SPECIAL.
I made the biggest and best decision of my life!

Although I grew up in church, I’ve always had my own private relationship with Christ. But if I’m being real, I was battling a lot behind closed doors. Shame, rejection, self-doubt, fear,depression, anxiety, suicidal thoughts… and just feeling completely DEFEATED. 😔

For years, I tried to hold it all together on my own. These past three years especially have been ROUGH. I’d still show up smiling, trying to push through, but deep down I wasn’t myself. I was mentally and emotionally depleted. I couldn’t take it anymore. Things in my life kept going left, and no one knew about the nights I’d cry myself to sleep asking God “why?” and praying for my breakthrough.

For months, I’ve been asking God if it was okay to be baptized again (I was first baptized 22 years ago), and in September, He finally gave me the green light. 🙏🏽

So yesterday, 10/26/25, I made the choice to fully SURRENDER and give Him my ALL, because your girl was TIRED. 🕊️

And now… I am NEW.
I am FREE.
I am at PEACE. 🤍

I’m beyond grateful for my friends and family who came to support me on this special day. This time, it’s DIFFERENT.
This time, it’s PERSONAL.

This is my TESTIMONY.
A new journey begins…

Be THAT woman… easy on the eyes and healthy for the heart. 🤍✨

A woman whose face card AND soul never decline. Whose character speaks just as beautifully as her smile. A woman who keeps God first, prays for you and your dreams, and speaks life into you, even when you’re struggling to believe in yourself.

Soft in spirit, firm in her values, and intentional with her love. May the way she lives reflect the God she serves. 🙏🏽

That’s the woman I’m committed to becoming. 💜

WHEW… somebody needs to hear this. 🥺

STOP making people with BIG personalities feel like they need to shrink themselves to make YOU comfortable.

That loud laugh. That goofy energy. That nonstop talking. That BIG personality… you have NO IDEA what they may be battling when they’re alone.

Maybe they’re that way around you because they finally feel SAFE enough to just BE. ❤️

So don’t dim someone’s light just because it shines differently.

Sometimes the person making everybody else laugh is fighting battles nobody knows about. Check on your strong friends. Check on your happy friends. 🫂

OMG GUYS… I’M AN EMOTIONAL WRECK!! 😭🥹❤️

First of all… I am SOOOOO PROUD OF MY DANCE BABIES!! Their energy on that stage was EVERYTHING!! 🔥🔥🔥 Watching them dance, shine, and give it EVERYTHING they had had me in my feelings!

But Ms. Kim is an EMOTIONAL WRECK because it finally hit me…

THIS WAS MY LAST HOORAH AT THE @newyorksalsacongress . 😭🥹

While we were taking pictures, I just BUSTED OUT CRYING. 😭😭😭

I’ve had some of these dancers since they were 5 & 6 YEARS OLD. FIVE. SIX. 🥹 And now I’m standing there looking at these beautiful, talented young people thinking, “WOW… look how much you’ve grown.”

I’ve watched them grow through so many stages of life—not just as dancers, but as PEOPLE. And to know that I’ve had the privilege of being part of that journey… THAT’S THE PART THAT GETS ME. 🥹❤️

My heart is FULL. So proud. So grateful. So emotional.

Ms. Kim may be leaving the stage, but I’ll forever be one of their biggest cheerleaders FRONT ROW & CENTER. 🥹❤️

NIGHT 2 at the @childrensalsa 💃🏾🔥🇵🇷

What can I say about this little one right here?! 🥹❤️

Her name is NAYA… AND DON’T YOU FORGET THAT NAME!! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

Although she was SUPER NERVOUS the morning of, the moment she stepped onto that stage, all of her hard work, dedication, and determination SHINED BRIGHTLY! ✨

Not only did Naya represent her dance team, Rumberitos de Huracán, but she also DEBUTED HER SOLO!! 😭🙌🏾🔥 What an accomplishment for this young lady!

Having the opportunity to work with Naya one-on-one has truly been an honor. Watching her push herself, grow in confidence, and step outside of her comfort zone makes moments like this so special for me as an instructor. 🥹❤️

Thank you, @jennifer1340 , for trusting me and blessing me with the opportunity to work with your baby girl. I hope you are just as HAPPY and PROUD of her as I am because NAYA DID HER THANGGGG!! 💃🏾🔥👏🏾

🇵🇷🔥 JULY 31ST — NIGHT 1 IN PUERTO RICO!!! 🔥🇵🇷

Night 1 at the @childrensalsa Congress and BABYYYYY… MY KIDDOS DID THEIR THANG!!! 💃🏾🕺🏾🙌🏾

✨ Melanie stepped on that stage and did AMAZING with her solo! Watching her get out there, own that stage, and shine made me SOOOO PROUD! 🥹👏🏾

🔥 And Los Sabrositos de Huracán (Jordan & Felicity) Y’ALL KILLED IT!!! The energy, the confidence, the hard work… THEY SHOWED UP & SHOWED OUT!! 💃🏾🕺🏾🔥

Words truly cannot express how PROUD these kids made me! 🥹❤️

We may not have had our whole tribe with us in Puerto Rico this year, but the ones who came REPRESENTED!!! 🇵🇷💪🏾 Every single one of them DID THEIR THANG, and my heart was FULL watching them on that stage!

These days I don’t get many opportunities to get all dressed up and really feel myself, but this past weekend I had the chance to do just that… and it felt SO good! ✨💁🏾‍♀️

What a time I had at the @barsoni95 networking event! The Tulum theme was absolutely PHENOMENAL!! Everyone understood the assignment and brought the vibes! 🌿🤎🌴

I had the pleasure of connecting with some amazing people, sharing laughs, making new connections, and simply enjoying the atmosphere.

Just GOOD VIBES all around! 🤍

And can we talk about getting dressed up?! Whew… your girl felt PRETTY! 💃🏾✨ Sometimes all you need is a reason to step out, smile big, and remind yourself that girl is still in there. 💅🏾
