In real estate, time is the only thing we can’t make more of. To get you the best deal, I need your 100% honest, unfiltered thoughts. You will never offend me by saying:

1 - I don’t like this house.
Even if I spent two hours researching it, tell me immediately. If the “vibe” is off or the property doesn’t tick the box, we move on. My goal isn’t just to sell you a house,it’s to find you the right house.

2-Our budget has changed.
Life happens. If we need to pivot the price point (up or down), I need to know ASAP so we aren’t chasing the wrong targets. No judgment, just strategy.

3-Can you explain that again?
The paperwork is a literal different language. If a clause in the contract sounds like gibberish, ask me to break it down five more times. I’d much rather you be informed than confused.

4-I’m stressed/overwhelmed.
Real estate can be a top-tier life stressor. If you need to vent, take a breath, or go silent for 24 hours to clear your head, just say so. I’m here to manage the chaos, not add to it.

5-I’m not ready to buy yet.

As a lady in my early 20s in real estate, I believe the industry can be simpler, more transparent, and more accessible.

Here’s what I’d do:
1. Make property information clear.No unnecessary mystery.

2. Make verification easier.
People shouldn’t need to be experts to know if a property is genuine.

3. Create more accessible ways to own.
Flexible payment plans and lower entry would give more young Nigerians a chance to participate.

4. Educate more
Teach people what they’re buying,what documents to look for, what questions to ask and what red flags to avoid.

Because real estate shouldn’t only work for people who already have money. It should also create pathways for people who are building it.
And that’s the kind of real estate industry I want to be part of.
