As someone who has watched loved ones battle depression and fear of losing them, this makes me so angry.

That a place of extreme vulnerability is met with mockery, and the depths of someone's pain can be used to jest in the Senate House in Nigeria.

I try not to comment when I see the display of foolishness from our political class, 'cause it seems futile. But I won't let this one go.

Suicide should never be a crime. A cry for help should never be met with punishment.

This is the President of the Nigerian Senate saying this at the 2nd reading of the "Sucide prevention bill" in a country that rehabilitates bandits.

It is painful to see.

Being mentally aware is a huge form of selfcare. Pay attention to how you feel , that is usually the first step.

What are you grateful for? Share in the comments, let us celebrate with you!

I'll go first, one thing i am grateful for in Q1 is the opportunity to be fully sponsored for a scientific conference in Edinbrugh. Excited about going next week!

Over to you? What are you grateful for, even if it's in the making and its not perfect, your progress is worth celebrating.❤️

I had a little meeting with my private accountability circle yesterday and we were asked to answer two questions: 1- What would you describe your 2025 year as? and 2- What do you think 2026 would look like for you?

Very broad questions, I wondered where to start.
2025 has been a year that renewed my ability to dream and believe in possibilities. A year of psychological healing for me, it was messy but i did it! Intense personal development (and Yes!, we go harder next year!), I asked myself the difficult questions and I got answers that changed my life. Vision came alive and my spark lit again. I really did the inner work this year and I am so proud of myself.

So, I'm passing the mic to you, What would you describe your 2025 year as?

About Question 2?, We will talk about 2026 in 2026...😅

In the mean time, i really want to hear from you in the comments👇👇👇

Cheers!☺️
