Blue-throated mountain gem:
I jumped in my car as fast as lightning when my friend text me to tell me this was her yard bird at the place she was staying in southern Arizona. I am so grateful she was willing to share him with me. 💙

Thick-billed Kingbird:
Usually high up in the trees. I just got out of my car and was fumbling around with all my gear. I’m sure I looked like a mess but I happened to look up and he was eye level staring at me quizzically. I took a few shots and he took off to the top of the trees and that’s where he stayed. 💛
Swipe to see there range.

Phainopepla family.
1. Dad with daughter
2. Both teenagers. Zoom in at the boy. 😅
This was from September of 2025. I’m noticing all the adult birds working hard to feed their children. Phainopepla, Cardinals, Cooper’s hawks and Hooded Orioles.

He realized the snail he caught was empty and dropped it. This beautiful animal is endangered in Florida but prevalent in South America.
