This has been a long week... tired, but worth it.
I'm grateful for another year. God has shown me the power of what praying without ceasing can do.
This will be a birthday I will never forget as I move my baby to Charleston to begin the next phase of her career. It is a bittersweet moment, but I prayed for this, so I dare not stand in the way of the very thing I asked God for.
Maliyah, everything you have set out to do, you have done. With every journey, your wings have grown stronger and stronger.
Since you graduated, I have watched your determination, your discouragement, and then your reset. When your career opportunity was delayed, instead of sitting in disappointment, you chose to buckle down in ministry, set new goals, and enroll in school to make the best of your waiting season...

(Amos 9: 13-15) IYKYK 🙌🏽
AND THEN, SUDDENLY!!!

You got the call, and what was supposed to be a 9/10 month delay turned into a blink of an eye shift.
God watches to see what we do while He makes us wait, and He honors those who continue to trust Him Anyhow!
Mothers and fathers, don't let up. Pray without ceasing. We are not raising a lost generation; we are raising the Chosen Generation. They are our ancestors' wildest dreams, and that's why the attack against them has been so heavy.

Baby girl, it's time for you to take flight and become all that God has purposed you to be.

Love the DMV.. Felt like old times when we would spend our summers. My Southeast fam is one of a kind and lord my little cousins aren't little anymore.😜🤣❤️

Everyday is different and is a gift. Anyone that knows me, KNOW I don't play about my Daddyo and my Uncle Steve.
Thank you for your presence, unwavering love, steady voice and security. You both have stood in the gap for my daughter and I'm forever grateful.
When my back was against wall my daddy looked at me and said "If God told you to Do it , then you do it." Those words whisper in my ear still to this day with every step I take.
