💓💓💓💓 It’s finally happening!! The transformation of our new space has begun! 🔨
After more than four years of dreaming, planning, working and refusing to give up, something truly special is beginning to take shape.
A calming, welcoming place created for healing, movement, restoration and connection a place to reclaim strength, embrace clarity and live fully.
And we need to give an enormous, heartfelt thank-you to the incredible volunteers who have helped make this possible. There is absolutely no way we could have come this far without you. You have continued to show up, day in and day out, painting, sanding, building furniture, cleaning and giving your time, energy and heart to this vision. We are more grateful than words can express. 💚🙏
We also want to give a very special shout-out to the amazing team at Landaverde Builders. Their generosity, craftsmanship and willingness to work alongside us have helped make this transformation possible. We are incredibly grateful to have them bringing our vision to life! 🔨
Empower Wellness Center is coming to life…and this is only the beginning.

Watch the transformation begin and follow us as it unfolds..🎥 by @msahlborg

This winter has made me feel like I am back living in my childhood home of upstate NY! I know most people hate it, I love it. Now if I only had our old snowmobiles… 😊 by @msahlborg

Today we celebrate Galette des Rois, a cherished French January tradition shared in the spirit of healing and connection. This centuries-old pastry holds a hidden charm, or fève, and whoever finds it is crowned king or queen for the day a joyful reminder of ritual and togetherness, with Sarah serving as our designated slice picker.
We also honor sweet Karuna on her healing journey, surrounded by love, intention, and nourishment. And as always, we are grateful to enjoy the most incredible plant-based food prepared by the brilliant Chef Anne Vandromme Hood.
Fittingly, Anne found the charm earning the crown and being named Queen for the Day, a title she truly deserves. ❤️❤️❤️ by @msahlborg

Heartbroken by the loss of Catherine O’Hara.
She was genuinely funny in a way few actors ever are, sharp, original, and endlessly watchable. I loved every movie she was in!
71 is far too young. One of the last truly great women in comedy.
Thank you for the laughter you gave us all. You will be so very missed! 💔 by @msahlborg

Asking for all the prayers and healing energy for this beautiful, sweet, intelligent, amazing dog Karuna. She goes for surgery for bone cancer tomorrow and it’s going to be emotionally overwhelming for her and her mom and dad with an extraordinary adjustment ahead for all who love her no matter the outcome. Send all good thoughts, prayers and love to this exceptional, animal loving, family! They are literally the best dog and cat parents I have ever met in my entire life!! ❤️🙏🙏🙏 by @msahlborg
