Thank you so much for the love for Synthetic Hearts Volume 1. So humbling how some of you follow this quiet project. What we didn't tell you is that we basically made two albums in one go! Two singles are already out for the 2nd Volume : "Imini Yesithembiso" and "Green to Gold" . Swipe left to see Us, the Autumn Leaves turning from Green to Gold in 2022 when this work was created. Enjoy the music! We will drop the full project soon :)

Fun fact : this billboard went up on Time Square while I was a neighbourhood away in board meeting. I missed it 💔 but I’m super grateful to be up there in the 1st place for being a songwriter. So much love to everyone who sees me that made this possible. @spotifysongwriting @spotifyafrica & @umpg_southafrica ✨🤍 🥰 I’m blushing.

I am also grateful to be doing meaningful work with incredible people. @bridgesformusic / @bridges.academy you have my heart on lock 🔒

Here to finding more balance between it all , creating , serving , grieving , living , messing up and trying again.

Excited to share the visuals for The Crossing (Osiyeza) with you! 📹✨

This is a very special anthem carried through generations in South Africa, and we have had the honor of reimagining it. Featuring @jesseclegg @zakesbantwini @skyewandaful & myself.

Heban! 💜 Not the trauma and heaviness of this recurring horror of FEMICIDE in South Ahh making us negotiate with our own presence and our own Joy. In my attempt to be present today in the midst of lives lost, can I implore anyone with feelings of ambivalence about being joyful, wading the guilt of being stuck about how to lament the tragedy, the anger because of our reality to PLEASE LIVE, be present , lean into any moment of Joy life gives you in these dark days , unapologetically so. We owe it to the ones that we could not protect. The ones let down by these pathetic spineless voices in leadership telling us to be more vigilant, and this and more that. We deserve to Live!

Today we choose joy! If only for a moment, Khanya Njalo Sibane Sam 🤍✨

Yho! So the weather man said 'Bumile ubomi Msaki' 😩🫠 and events were in a tricky space this past Sunday because of bad weather predictions ☔️ It was so hard to know what the right thing to do was for everyone’s safety.
I’m happy we were rewarded for showing up, with such a glorious gathering. The heavens were kind but YOU guys? The audience, You had my heart swimming in custard.
All 4000 of you on an overcast Sunday, fellowshipping over music, and meaning, singing our hearts out together I am so humbled. You guys make it make sense.🤍

Louie and I met in South Africa 🇿🇦, started writing new music together in New York, and then I first heard the record in Amsterdam. It’s been so special getting to know you and linking up all around the world @louievega 🌎🤍.

Mercy of Time is a record about surrender. It’s a 3 part saga of epic proportions that travels 3 emotional landscapes.
