My hope is that it gives people permission to see grief differently—not just as something connected to death, but as a part of the various transitions we experience in life. Something beautiful is coming...

It's not the wedding I once imagined, but maybe it's the truest one of all.

For the past year, I've been writing a story unlike anything I've ever created.

The Marriage of Love & Grief invites us to consider what if love and grief were never meant to be enemies—but lifelong companions.

Through the familiar rhythm of a wedding ceremony and reception, we'll explore the memories, emotions, traditions, and sacred moments that shape us after loss. Together, we'll discover that grief isn't just about death—it's about every transition that changes us. And perhaps, when we learn to acknowledge it, we can live more fully because of it.

I can't wait to celebrate this union—and all of you who have helped me believe this story needed to be told.

Last night was exactly what I needed. ✨

20 years has passed since the death of my fiance. I do not hold him in that tragedy.

What I do hold is continued love for him and each of my seasons.

I hold responsibility to help others navigating grief.

Marked in Memory: A Grief & Healing Tattoo Experience 🌿

Grief doesn’t disappear, it changes form. This experience is about honoring that truth and giving it space to live, breathe, and be seen.

Join us at Grant Legacy Farm in Nashville for a one of a kind healing gathering that brings together guided grief support, creative expression, and optional memorial tattooing in a peaceful outdoor setting.

This space is for anyone carrying grief, recent or long held. You do not need to have the right words or be in a specific stage of healing. You just need to come as you are.

What to expect: • Optional custom memorial tattoos (limited availability) • Guided grief support and reflection • Creative healing stations including art, writing, and journaling • A collective memory altar • Gentle meditation and grounding practices • A closing ritual focused on release, remembrance, and moving forward
