Believe it or not I was completely terrified of coming to law school. Now that I’m here, I can honestly say it’s one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.

I loved my time as a teacher because it helped me learn and mature so much, but after a while I started to feel that I really needed a new challenge. I’ve actually always thought about going to law school but was always too intimidated to pursue it. I finally said f*ck it and went for it, and I’m so glad I did.

Change can be scary, especially when you’re trying to do something hard, but the only other alternative is being stuck somewhere you don’t want to be. I don’t know about you, but the day I die I want to know I went after all the things I desired and didn’t let fear get in my way.

So here’s to embracing new challenges and me becoming the badass lawyer I was always meant to be 👊🏾
