FRUSTRATED with life!

A lot of people are in their own head beating themselves up because life don’t look how they planned at 25, 30, or even 40+. But what nobody tells you is… your plan was never the promise .

•
The person you become through the pivots, the losses, the traumas, the responsibility… that’s the real gem.

•
Sometimes we be sitting in seasons that feel off track, but that’s when we’re actually being positioned. You just don’t recognize it yet because it doesn’t look like what you originally wrote down.

•
I’ve had moments where everything shifted. Loss. Pressure. Situations I didn’t ask for. And still had to show up, build, and figure it out anyway.

But the beauty was in this…being Patient with myself. Kind to myself. And not staying stuck.

One thing I’ve learned after buying $2Million of my own real estate portfolio is that making money and keeping ownership require two completely different strategies.

And that’s where I see a lot of 9–5 professionals and entrepreneurs getting caught up.

Being focused on the next money grab opportunity, the next trending cashflowing business, or the next big payout that they haven’t figured out what they’re actually trying to build.

But here’s the part I want you to understand. You can have BOTH ownership AND cash flow.

Here’s what a lot of 9–5 aspiring investors don’t understand.

Just because somebody is making $10K a month running a group home doesn’t mean they’re putting $10K in their pocket.

Are they leasing that property or do they own the building?

•
How much are they spending on staffing, furniture, transportation, insurance, and marketing?

And after all those expenses, what’s actually left?

•
See, social media will show you the revenue. But rarely does anybody show you what it costs to operate the business.

And that’s where people get caught up.

•
You could be chasing somebody else’s $10K month when your real goal is to own an asset that builds generational wealth.

Those are two different strategies. And they require two different capital plans.

Before you start chasing funding, figure out what you’re actually trying to build.

You can make it out physically and STILL be stuck there mentally.

And sometimes it’s that looking back that’s keeping you from moving forward.

Some of us still praying over friendships, relationships, and opportunities that God already released us from.

•
And listen, if you got ADHD like me, you KNOW how your mind will replay something a hundred different ways.

You done moved on physically, but mentally? You still back there having conversations, thinking about what could’ve been, or getting mad all over again. 😩

•
And sometimes it ain’t even about a person. It’s that old neighborhood, that old version of yourself, or a life you already outgrew.

So free yourself & accept that what’s behind you doesn’t belong where God is taking you. by @mscashflowproperties

Being left out can’t cancel your assignment.

You thought you’d be further by now

But something you started didn’t work…again. Somebody you trusted disappointed you…again.

And now here it is, the start of another week, and you’re wondering when something you put your time into is finally going to stick.

Because you’re tired of starting over.

Listen.

Your current position is not your final position.

Because the assignment in front of you is so big, you’re going to need what these life lessons are teaching you.

•
So hold on I know you may feel like you ready to crash out on dem people lol…but don’t

You’re learning skills you didn’t have before. You’re becoming somebody you haven’t had to be before.

And one day you’re going to realize

You weren’t starting over. You were becoming the person who could lead every room God was preparing you to walk into.

Lola.

When I first became an entrepreneur I was in network marketing, people literally used to tease me saying I was just…

“Business, business, business.” Never having fun

But what they didn’t understand was I was building a future life that looked different from the one I had

And I was willing to be locked in for a while to get there.

Fast forward I’ve been in Houston a little over a year now

And business has introduced me to some really like-minded people that turned into solid & loyal friendships.

•
That’s the part people don’t talk about enough.

When you’re good to people and do good business…you build genuine relationships that becomes bigger than business.

•
And when you’re ready one phone call gets you backstage to see an artist worth leaving the house for and into a good VIP after party❣️
