Yesterday on the way to my Mom’s house I stopped as I usually do at Ft. Hamilton in Brooklyn to shop. I was absolutely delighted to meet BernNadette Stanis aka @thelmaofgoodtimes who was there signing her book, Good Times at the PX. I was even more delighted that proceeds were going to support Alzheimer’s, an absolutely horrible disease. We had a very nice conversation. She is a lovely lady and reminded me to have patience which I admit I struggle with at times. A good day! #goodtimes #alzheimers #dementiasucks😢 #booksigning taken in Fort Hamilton Exchange by @mscraftyone

I finally made it to QuiltCon and had an amazing time. My flight to Raleigh was full of quilters and knitters. I met a lot of new people and saw many I knew. I’m looking forward to next year in Atlanta. #quiltcon2026 #quiltcon by @mscraftyone
