"The Six" almost ready to come out of hibernation. Bought new in 1974 as a 4 - cyl, I slowly modified it over the years into its current iteration. I first designed the bi - turbo system in 1983 when they used to tell me: "You can't turbo a 914!"

Long before the internet & social media, this car was featured in many great car magazines like Excellence (thank you @tlg_auto for those 📷), European Car, VW Greats and AutoWeek.

This current set up is good for about 750hp, and features in no particular order: twin Turbonetic GTK Turbochargers, Spearco intercooler, short stroke 3.3 turbo motor, European CIS Injection on modified 3.2 Carrera plenums, Dougherty Racing turbo cams, twin plug, @porschemotorsportnorthamerica horizontal flat fan, MSDS turbo exhaust system. MSDS 8 point cage, GT metal flares, Boxster 4 piston brakes & Koni gas suspension all around.

Now it's time to get The Six back on the road where it belongs after a long sleep.

Didn't make it to Monterey Car Week this year? (It's okay... neither did we).

Come on over to @pecla this Sunday, 8/17, for Morning Shift to celebrate 60 years of Targa! On display will be one of the most historical Targas ever, our 1970 Le Mans class winning 914 - 6 GT.

Can't make it? No worries! It'll be on display in the PECLA gallery through the end of September.

Really nice to see the @msds_inc boys and what they are up to and to check out the newest @porsche addition to the collection. This one was a little different with the @almondsurfboards 001/200 Pink Pig 40 commission and we had to “test” fit it to the car for when it makes its way back to the Le Mans classic and get ready for some epic surf too 🤣 just listen to that 914-6 scream with the factory GT headers by MSDS.
