✨️Want to know my biggest secret to writing books like Poised for Greatness? I don't write for an abstract audience. I write to solve a specific human struggle. When I wrote my first book at age nine, I wanted to share what every child should know about prayer—helping kids connect with spiritual principles from their own perspective so they would truly feel heard. When I wrote Poised for Greatness, I wrote to give young leaders the permission I wish everyone had: to stop playing small. Writing isn't about showing off your vocabulary; it's about holding up a mirror so the reader can finally see their own strength. If you have a book inside of you, trust your voice and write to help someone see what’s possible. The books that stay with us are the ones that speak honestly and make us feel seen. Whether you are writing your first chapter, designing a youth program, or building your brand, remember: clarity beats complexity every single time. What message are you holding that needs to be released into the world? CTA: Double tap if you're working on a creative project this season! ✨️I’m starting a new series called The Daily Reset, where I’ll share small ways to protect energy and create more breathing room. Sustainable progress usually isn’t about adding another task to your morning; it’s about subtracting an unnecessary drain. Every Tuesday, I audit what is taking energy without producing peace or value—whether that’s an optional meeting, commitments outside of my purpose and/or value alignment, or simply scrolling before getting out of bed. Giving yourself permission to let go of one small commitment creates instant breathing room for what matters. [Share one small habit or commitment you decided to cut this week.] CTA: What is one small thing you can take off your plate today to protect your energy? by @mseaustin
✨️Me to Paris (right after she did something naughty): “Paris, that is 1.” Person who notices me having a full conversation with her: “How many chances does she get?” Me in reply: “47.” Missing my 47 chances fur baby companion girl. ❤️ Grieving a pet is such a specific, enduring kind of loss, but sometimes the sweetest comfort is simply remembering the funny, everyday moments that made them so unforgettable. #MissParis2U #WhoGoneCheckMeBoo CTA: If you’ve ever loved and lost a pet, what funny quirk, phrase, or favorite memory of theirs still brings a smile to your face? (No pressure to share if it feels tender today.) by @mseaustin
We often look for external obstacles when our biggest roadblocks are the ones we’ve constructed in our own minds. In my coaching sessions and youth workshops, I see brilliant people pause their entire futures waiting for absolute certainty. Certainty doesn't precede action; confidence is built inside the doing. Swipe through to identify which limit you are ready to dismantle today. CTA: Save this carousel to your weekly planning folder and share it with a friend who is stepping into a new season! #AskThePurposeCoach #GoalSetting #MindsetShift #PoisedForGreatness #PersonalDevelopment Empowerment by @mseaustin
"What running a youth empowerment agency actually looks like.” People think running a youth agency is all standing on stages holding microphones. Here is what my day actually looks like: 7:00 AM—curriculum writing and grant tracking. 10:00 AM—meeting with school administrators to advocate for youth development programs. 1:00 PM—facilitating our leadership lab where high school students discover the power of their voice. 4:00 PM—the unglamorous paperwork, logistics, and supply runs. It’s demanding, it requires total focus, and I wouldn’t trade it for anything in the world. Real leadership happens in the details." Solo entrepreneurship in the social sector requires passion, but it survives on grit and structure. Every program we deliver at our agency is built with one mission in mind: helping young people realize they don't have to wait to be great. Thank you for supporting this mission every step of the way! CTA: Double tap if you respect the behind-the-scenes hustle! What part of entrepreneurship surprised you most? #DayInTheLife #AgencyFounder #YouthEmpowerment #SoloEntrepreneur #BehindTheScenes PoisedForGreatness by @mseaustin
✨️Good morning! Top of the hour and just finished a great run with the DC Pacers Run Club. 🏃‍♀️ One of my bucket-list goals is to run a marathon, so I’ve been pushing myself to get more runs in during the week. Today was 3 miles—and faster than I’ve ever run before! I love seeing how far we can go within the realm of possibility... and the same goes for you. Keep going. Be brave. Push it to the limit! (Took this photo this morning because I wasn’t sure if I’d still have knees after today, which is why I put on my lipstick first to capture the moment—always 💋🤣) by @mseaustin
✨️Big thanks to my dear friend LaVida for inviting me to join her for Parlor Nights this September—and I'm so here for it. Tonight we're at Shanklin Hall in Adams Morgan, an intentional Black-owned social club with warm lighting, spinning vinyl, rotating artwork from local Black artists, and real connection. A celebration of Black culture in the best way. Great drinks, great music, great art, great people. This is what community looks like. by @mseaustin
When you shift your mindset from seeking approval to offering service, social anxiety evaporates. You are not in the room to audition. You are in the room to bring your gifts, your perspective, and your leadership. Hold your head up. You are poised for greatness. CTA: Save this reminder for your next big meeting or presentation! Tag someone who needs this. #ConfidenceInLeadership #MindsetMatters #PoisedForGreatness #ExecutivePresence #WomenWhoLead by @mseaustin
