I’m ready for the fall in Dallas, Texas because it’s hot out hurr!!!

I’m ready for the chilly weather, football season, Dallas Cowboys, food, warm and comfortable clothing, (and hopefully cuddled up?? 🤷🏾‍♀️👀) yeah I said it.

I truly believe there is but One who has the ability to forgive and forget, and His name is Jesus. In our human nature, we are limited in our ability to fully forget the hurt, pain, and trauma that we have endured. Many times, it’s those experiences that have the ability to influence how we feel, how we think, and our worldview.

However, we do have the ability to fully forgive.

It doesn’t mean what happened was okay. It does mean we have the choice to let go and move forward.

Unless doing so compromises our safety, I still believe healthy boundaries can be established. Forgive without restoring complete access. Let go of the hurt without denying your experience.
