People will be mad at you because you overcame everything they thought would destroy you.

They got comfortable watching you struggle, so your healing makes them uncomfortable. They expected you to stay broken, bitter, and stuck in survival mode.

But healing changed me. I stopped explaining myself. I stopped chasing people. I stopped carrying pain that wasn’t mine. I found peace, purpose, self-worth, and learned that forgiveness doesn’t mean access.

And then the blessings started coming. Not just material things — peace, protection, opportunities, growth, confidence, and doors I didn’t have to beg to walk through.

Some people aren’t mad because you’re doing better than them. They’re mad because everything they thought would break you made you stronger.

I survived it. I healed from it. And now I’m blessed because of it. 🖤

From being a little girl buying @50cent albums and listening to his music, to standing beside him as an adult with my daughters… 🥹❤️ This was truly a full-circle moment I’ll never forget. His welcoming energy, genuine spirit, and dope vibes made the experience even more special. To share a moment like this with my girls is something I can’t even fully explain. Some people will stand beside you with a smile on their face and envy in their heart. They’ll clap for you publicly while secretly hoping you never become everything you’re destined to be. But eventually, the energy shifts, the masks slip, and the truth starts revealing itself. And when you finally see people for who they really are, you realize that some of the things you were praying to keep were actually things you needed to be delivered from.

You can imitate my heart, but you can’t duplicate it. You can pretend to be genuine, but your intentions will eventually speak louder than your words. I’m learning that discernment is a blessing, distance is protection, and not every loss is a loss. Sometimes God reveals the truth because it’s time for you to move differently. 💯🤍

I went back knowing I had to balance motherhood, life, responsibilities, and all the things I’ve already been through while still pushing myself forward.

I’m going to become a lawyer. And with law school getting closer, I realize this college journey is only the beginning. Every hard class, every setback, every late night, every moment of doubt is preparing me for something bigger. This road is not easy, but I’d rather struggle becoming who I’m meant to be than stay comfortable in a place I’ve already outgrown.

I’m not where I want to be yet, but I’m damn sure not where I used to be. ⚖️🎓

What I mean is, life is going to be hard regardless, so choose the hard that actually takes you somewhere. I’d rather struggle while rebuilding, growing, learning, sacrificing, and becoming the person I know I’m capable of being than struggle year after year and still be in the exact same place. Growth comes with uncomfortable seasons, but staying stagnant comes with its own pain too. Choose your hard wisely—because one struggle is building your future, while the other is keeping you stuck in your past.

I have to thank God for the storm. 🙏🏽

At the time, I didn’t understand why I had to lose so much, start over, and experience so much pain. I questioned God, but now I see that He was preparing me for something greater.

The storm broke me down, but God used it to rebuild me. When I thought I couldn’t make it, He made a way. When I felt like I had nothing left, He gave me the strength to keep going.

Today, I’m not ashamed of what I survived. I’m grateful because I now know just how powerful God’s hand has been over my life.

He brought me through what I thought would destroy me. What I thought was the end was really God preparing me for a new beginning. 🤍🙏🏽
