My favorite ESON piece. Heavily influenced by his main bombing partner HEAT. These guys carried the crews rep on their back during a rough time. Kept us up on the streets in a major way in the early 2000’s. What I always loved about our crew is we had it all. Some of the best graffiti artists in the state, and some of the most ruthless bombers in the city. We always had those beautiful MSG productions, but we also had the streets on smash thanks to guys like ESON & HEAT. #miamigraffiti #esonlives by @msgcrew

ESON had a running tally of highway signs he painted. He used to text me the updated total from time to time. He had at least 150+ signs over the years. I miss these days when the highways were getting smashed. ESON was really proud of the rep he built for himself as the king of the green signs. RIP ESON. 👑 #esonlives #miamigraffiti by @msgcrew

RIP ESONI’ve known Eric since our elementary school days at Biscayne Gardens Elementary. We weren’t good friends outside of school, he lived on the east side of 95, and I grew up on the west side of 95. Two totally different friend groups. I moved out of North Miami to Pines in 7th grade. Years later we reconnected in the Advocate Program. Some of y’all will know what I’m talking about. I was in the program for my first graffiti arrest in ‘98. You had to speak to a group of people about how you got arrested and what you plan to do to not let that happen again. He heard me tell my story of getting popped for tagging on 95 and we started talking and quickly figured out that we knew each other. We both for some reason were on the same path, just getting into graffiti and really looking up to Crome and the MSG guys. And had a real appetite for highway spots. We both found our way into MSG completely independently around the same time. We are in the same generational class of the crew. After Beno passed in ‘97, the guys that joined in 98 & 99.We both repped MSG as hard as we could. My favorite spot we painted was the old Crome & Hest church roof top, a big ugly MSG. Hurricane Wilma came and ripped the roof off and left the bottom portion of the MSG until it got torn down. I always felt a connection to Eson. He waved the MSG flag and carried our crew when we were at our lowest. Eson & Heat carried the crew the during our weakest point in crew history. To everyone seeing this post, if you didn’t know him, just know he was a ruthless illegal highway graffiti bomber for the MSG Crew. I chopped up the old VICE episode featuring Eson.
