Yesterday, one of my new employees asked me, “Why are YOU putting the floor down? Why isn’t someone else doing it?”

Me: This is MY business, MY vision, and there’s nothing I’m too good to do. 💯

I will ALWAYS be hands-on. I’ll put the floor down, move furniture, clean up, answer the phone, handle the paperwork whatever needs to be done. A title will never make me forget the work it took to build what I have.

And lets not forget I have an AMAZING TEAM that goes hard for me EVERY SINGLE DAY. ❤️ They show up, they work, and they help carry this vision. That’s exactly why I’ll never sit back and expect them to do something they’ll never see me do.

Leadership isn’t always pointing and giving instructions. Sometimes leadership is getting on the floor and showing your team that you’re right there with them.

To every business owner building something. Never get so successful that you become too important to do the work. Stay connected. Stay involved. Stay humble. Your team will respect a leader who’s willing to work beside them not just above them.

CEO doesn’t mean I stopped working. It means I became responsible for making sure the work gets DONE. 👑💪🏽
