The Freedom Fund Dinner was truly an inspiration! ✨

It was an honor to celebrate exceptional community members while also celebrating the powerful legacy and continued work of the NAACP. I was grateful to co-MC the second half of the evening, and even more proud to have my sons volunteer, serve, and be part their community.

Thank you to Branch President Fawn for your leadership, vision, and commitment to putting on such a beautiful event for our community. @fawns.village

And as we continue celebrating community, let’s remember that civic engagement is part of that work too. The November 3, 2026 General Election is approaching, so make sure you’re registered, informed, and ready to participate. California’s Secretary of State provides voter registration, ballot, and election information to help you make your own informed decision. (California Secretary of State)

This weekend I was able to catch up with my dear friend Mar! We met at 5 years old in kindergarten, and 30+ years later, we’re still here! We may not talk every day, but we always show up for each other. 🤍

You are a great mother, sister, and an amazing friend! I’m so blessed to have grown up with you and to still call you my friend after all these years. I love you, Mar! 🤍🤍✨ by @mskim123

BACK TO SCHOOL!

Mekhi is headed to HIGH SCHOOL — 9th Grade! And Marcus is returning to start his 11th Grade year! 🙌🏽

I’m so proud of both of you and excited to see what this new school year brings. May this be a year filled with learning, growth, confidence, new opportunities, and SUCCESS! Keep God first, stay focused, work hard, and remember that you are capable of accomplishing anything you put your mind to.

Let’s make it a GREAT year, boys! 📚✏️🎓💙

What an unforgettable experience! Attending the NOBLE National Conference for the first time was an honor, but having the opportunity to speak on a panel at a national conference for the very first time made it even more special.

I had the privilege of speaking on ATI (Alternatives to Incarceration), and what surprised me most was realizing how much my work aligns with this important conversation. Sometimes we don’t recognize the value of our own experiences until we’re given the opportunity to share them. This experience reminded me that the work I do every day has purpose, impact, and a voice that deserves to be heard. I’m grateful that God continues to place me in rooms I never imagined, reminding me that obedience will always open doors that fear tries to keep closed.

I am incredibly thankful to my leadership for believing in me, creating opportunities for me to grow, and allowing me to thrive. This experience gave me a level of confidence that is hard to put into words, and I truly believe God is stretching me beyond what I thought I was capable of.

A very special thank you to Bianca and Vincent for opening this door for us and trusting us with this opportunity. I can’t wait to continue serving our community, building meaningful partnerships, and seeing where God leads next. Here’s to many more opportunities to learn, lead, and make a difference. ❤️

Congratulations, Mr. & Mrs. Williams! We love y’all so much and pray that God’s favor, peace, joy, and abundant blessings follow your marriage all the days of your lives. May your love always reflect His love. 🤍💍

I’m so proud of the young woman you’ve become. So inspiring, so gracious and kind. The flower girl who stood in my wedding is now a beautiful bride beginning her own forever. 🤍 Tieler, I’ve watched you coach basketball , the way you love Brianna, and the heart you have for God. You guys truly have something special. I couldn’t be happier for you both.

My time in Dallas was more than a work trip, it was a faith building journey.

I arrived wondering, but I left knowing.

Knowing who I am in God. Knowing who I am for my community. Knowing who I can become if I trust the gifts God placed inside of me and walk confidently into the spaces He calls me to.

It’s amazing how God brings clarity. I used to have my head in the clouds, focused on things I couldn’t control. Now, I’m choosing to invest my energy in what I can change and trusting God with the rest.

I truly believe God is about to do wonderful things in me and my family’s life. Doors will open, not because I’m perfect, but because of His grace, my heart, and my willingness to trust Him.

See you again soon Dallas! ✌🏾🤍 by @mskim123

Happy Heavenly Birthday to my sister, Shanette. 🤍

Things haven’t been the same since you left. I miss you every day, but I thank God for the hope we have in Christ. I know you’re resting in His perfect peace, and one day we’ll see each other again.

I love you forever, girl. 🤍 by @mskim123
