Went to Phoenix to judge for @applausetalent weekend before last, and the trip did not disappoint. Grateful to be doing so many dance related things as a career. Little me might actually think I was cool! 😎 No matter where I go, nothing like seeing the Phoebe the Flamingo when I come home! #ilovewhatido #mskrystendance #dancereels #dancecompetitionjudge by @mskrystendance

2025 was a freaking journey😅😅
.
I learned to say no, not take anyone’s shit, live the softlife, hang with my girls, be a less emotionally stressed mom, let go of people not meant for me, and return back to being my unapologetic self.
.
In turn, I lost people very dear to my heart, reached the 40 milestone in solitude, made the choice to go back to school, and opened my icy heart to a man I never saw coming.
.
With all of that, my one resolution is to go back to dancing for myself again. Just me, the music, and an empty studio. I lost that part of me over the years, and I need that part of me back. So here’s me doing what I do🙌🏾old knees and ole faithful, back in the game!

The dance that marked the biggest change in my life. Almost a year ago I left a 17 year relationship. I felt shattered after the experience. Often wondering if I would ever feel like I was the one chosen. This dance was an expression, a rebirth of my inner fire and passion. For discovering I was “that girl” and would always be. It was an awakening of my spirit to never put myself in a position to be less than. Choosing this song was about someone saying if they were to fall in love, that they could do it with me. That someone would want a girl like me. So I challenged the insecurities and confidence level of these 9 gorgeous creatures to say to themselves that they too could be “that girl”. I wish you could see there facials, when I say every last one was SERVING!!!! HUNTY!!!! I will always miss this dance and the time to make it what it was. Love you girls @morgan.radway @jaslynnsantiago @t_camrynn @ari_67845 @itzjust_isabel @amina.naomi @simone_dances @izabella__dance3 @addyinwonderland3
