When people pretend to not like you, they waste more energy than they know and eventually it will tire them out. Them pretending makes them look like the problem.

But if they actually dislike you for something you did then it now looks like you are the problem. And their hatred will only grow if you don’t try to make it right.

MoQana means « the veiled » or « the masked » in Persia and Mocha (Al-Makha) in Yemen. The name is derived from a Persian religious leader who had to wear a mask because of chemical burns on his face.

✅Yemen Origins

Known for making coffee. The shop is modeled after the country that first made mocha coffee. (Al- Makha)

✅Persian Origins

The name is derived from a Persian religious leader who had to wear a mask because of chemical burns on his face.

✅Connection to America

Thomas Jefferson, one of Americas founding fathers and third president, learned religious tolerance, governance, and leadership from Cyrus the Great and Xenophon’s educational/bibliographical novel. Persian was considered to be his inspiration.

✅Biblical Connections

Persias empire in the Bible was often seen as a sign of restoration for Hebrew people. Cycrus the great was one of Gods instruments, although they served other gods as well, to help restore Gods people and rebuild their temples. The Persians conquered the Babylonians who held the Jews in exile and helped them to rebuild their temples.

Check out Daniel, Ezra, Nehemiah, and Esther in the Bible!

Now, we have a Persian cafe in Memphis, TN.

Créole Lemon butter grist with air fried crusted cod 🤤.#foodie

I HATE grits! But for today, I wanted to try something different.

I needed to redeem myself from my first EPIC failure 😞 grit recipe.

I must say, I didn’t disappoint!

Completely Vulnerable!

My father tells me not to be afraid! To be me! There are many things in this world I enjoy. Many things I would like to try. Many things that Christians can do with God in the center of it.

God is my life! And no one can take him away from me.

When I am at my weakest, he carries me. He love is like no other.

If you asked me do I ever think that a man could love me? My response would be, I don't think a man could ever love me like Jesus loves me.

He is my husband!

Yesterday I took my niece and little cousin to the @memphislibrary. It was a great 👍🏽 time!

One person got to select a book to read to the group.

Miss Riley picked a book about @beyonce ! The Memphis library have a variety of events for the kids and teens to include DJ room for partying, playroom, music studio, arts and crafts room, and reading areas.

Show your kids you love them by teaching them something different. We hope to see you their in the future!

It’s ok to thrift shop! Sometimes you won’t always have it. In my case I don’t have it none of the times, lol #goodwill #thrifting #budgetshopping #budgetingtips #veteran taken in Cordova, Tennessee by @mslatoriapatton
