I can't even give a personal synopsis of this book, because if I say absolutely anything I'll spoil something! I suppose you're just gonna have to read it and find out for yourself 🤷‍♀️

Review-
Absolutely fantastic. I began reading this book knowing absolutely nothing about it, and I am so glad I did because it enhanced the mysteries of the story. Again, I unfortunately can't say much without spoiling the book, but overall I appreciate the way that Blake Crouch paced the story, revealed the plot twists, and wrapped up the entire book without even telling his audience how it ended, because we already knew. by @mslenschreads

Personal synopsis-
Eddie, an amusement park maintenance worker, tragically passes away while attempting to save a young girl on a malfunctioning attraction. In an attempt to reach an understanding of both his life and his death, he meets five people in Heaven, each one teaching him a lesson that brings him to terms with his purpose. While passing through Heaven, Eddie has one concern: did he save the young girl?

Shortened review-
Now that is how you write a book. I cried. A lot. All through the last half-hour of the book, as well as an hour after. My new favorite book. I have no more words.

~ Sanctuary by James Cleary ~
~ ★★★☆☆ ~

Personal synopsis-
The world goes to shit. The Elite go to their bunkers, and the rest of society is left to fight for themselves. The Brandts, a multi-million dollar family, move from their estate house to their bunker while a group of suffering fighters take over the estate house. This book follows the struggles of both groups, from lack of sustenance to death of loved ones, as well as the rising tension between the groups, leaving the one question: who will survive, if any of them?

Shortened review-
Great storyline, but very complex. Nearly all of the characters were introduced at the same time, most of which share many similarities, so it was quite confusing putting one character to a name. There were quite a few subplots that never resurfaced, which I was disappointed by. The ending was definitely not what I expected, but it was unique which I enjoyed!
