I will be forever changed by this job. Miss Alma Veronique LA BADIE was and is an incredible woman. A pioneer. An activist. A social worker. A freedom fighter. A feminist. A community leader. A Pan Africanist. It has been an honour stepping into her shoes and telling her story. This is the first time I have played a real life character and it has been both an intimidating and awe inspiring journey!! Alma La Badie like many women had almost been written out of history but thanks to @itsntombizodwa , 80 years later her voice has been amplified and rightly so.

Thank you to everyone who came to see this show, especially those who made the journey from London to Manchester - I really appreciate it!

Thank you @mons_about for trusting me to tell Alma’s story and to all the wonderful creatives who have been apart of Liberation.
