I am a reflection of Mama B in ways I never imagined- the people that knew her aren’t surprised buttt Young Amber never would have thought. I truly am the BEST parts of both my parents.

My Mama always told me don’t never let anything or anyone rain on my parade. To live my life to the fullest. To give people their flowers while they can still smell them. The lessons she taught me are forever imprinted on my heart.

Recently I realized that this woman saw me before I saw mySELF. Funny how grief gives you all this hindsight…

Mama B saw my name in lights even when I didn’t….
She always knew I was so talented and could do so many things she always saw BIGGER. She knew my gifts were beyond me-that my presence on this earth was to impact. She spoke life into my dreams before I gave myself permission to dream that big-before I truly believed how Magical I was. She always knew.

I just thought she was supposed to be my #1 fan cuz she was my Mom.

My Baby came home to put herself back together after suffering such loss… to step into who she is… to live unapologetically… to find her foundation again. Well…here goes something vulnerable.
The last few years have brought deep loss, major life shifts, healing, rebuilding, reflection…and becoming. After taking time in California to regroup, reconnect with myself, and reset, I’m preparing for my next chapter: moving back to Atlanta ✨
This isn’t a “starting over” story. It’s a transition story. A soft landing story.
And whew…asking for support publicly is vulnerable for me. But I believe deeply in community, connectedness, and allowing ourselves to be poured into too. Shout out to @being_reaux for being a constant reminder, and the push I needed. Shout out to community, to family, to chosen family…to being seen….to being held, to allowing yourself to be held.

So…I created a simple transition support list with practical needs for this season, along with ways to support my work through referrals, workshops, coaching, collaborations, consulting, and aligned opportunities.
