Wonderful evening and great experience for our Yellow Jackets to scrimmage against a top D1 team just down the road at the University of Richmond.

Happy Dad’s Day to my Dad and to my step Dad, Floyd…First time in a long time w/ out Floyd. He passed away a few months ago after his battle w/ Alzheimer’s. Many times since, I’ve thought of if, how, when or what I would post about Floyd. The time seems right as we celebrate the Dad’s in our lives. I thought about some long wordy expression of what he meant to us as a family but couldn’t find the words. I will keep it rather simple because I feel Floyd was also a pretty simple person. What you saw on the surface was what you got and what he was at his core. He was a very kind person, someone who was always there to help in any way he could. He was very supportive and always optimistic. He loved us, loved our kids (grandpets also) and most importantly loved my Mom. This is what I guess was most important. Floyd and my Mom married later in life and I’m very thankful that she found Floyd. As mentioned earlier he was a very kind soul and being that he provided a loving, kind and secure relationship for her and that is something I’ll always be thankful. Happy Dad’s Day! (Always get a kick of the bald head pic at Bald Head w/ Dad, I crack myself up). by @msob24

Soooo…not only did we celebrate our anniversary by playing some tennis & hanging at the pool…we also celebrated Rooney’s 7th bday. He had a nice walk in the park, had a couple candle celebrations throughout the day (one with watermelon n another w/ a pup cup) and got a couple new stuffties…a soccer ball & a chef capybara. He’s a happy pup…Happy bday to @good_boy_roo We love you!! 🐾 ❤️ by @msob24
