Baby boy my ONLY BOY my king the blessing I prayed for 16 years ago to have & was blessed to bring into this world. U is such a momma’s boy I love u & I know how much u love me too, u didn’t play about ya momma. I’m soooooo sorry baby this happen to u, u didn’t deserve this. You are so full of light, good vibes u always kept me smiling & laughing & joking. Teaching me dances & stuff. Making your fav dishes for u. U SPOILED as hell but it’s alright cuz u my ONLY boy. I never in a million years would think u would have to go through this & that I’d have to watch u lying in the hospital fighting for your life. Your sisters, nephews & nieces (Delicia, Dacaria & Zaniyah & your niece Ayaan & nephews Izir & Cash) need you. U was our TOP MAN in all our lives. U was loved by so many & adored. My lil star my dancing machine & my singer & such a talented young Man U grew up to be. You always was so PERFECT in my eyes. I can’t let u go I don’t want too but if it’s Allah call then I can’t question it. But I’m heartbroken & never will be the same again. This is breaking my soul down to the core & I can’t let go I don’t wanna let go baby boy. Please please don’t leave me. We have so much many memories to face & share together. Prom & graduation, you suppose to walk me down that aisle. U can’t leave me & ya sisters. We need u. This pain I feel will never go away. U will always be my SONSHINE MY ONLY SONSHINE U MAKE ME HAPPY WHEN SKIES WERE GREY. Please don’t take my SONSHINE away. 💙🧡Who ever made this for my son I so appreciate this, I don’t know what ima do without this boy. 💔😩😔😢☹️😞🥹 by @mspreciousj

This journey was never just about losing pounds, it was about finding ME again. I lost my son, carried and birthed my twins while carrying a grief I didn’t even know how to survive, and walked through some of the hardest, weakest, and most vulnerable moments of my life. Depression took me to places I never thought I’d see, and yes, I gained pounds while I was simply trying to survive but I NEVER lost the woman underneath it all.

I had to dig deep and go get her back. And baby… SHE’S BACK. ✨🙌🏼💪🏼

I shed pounds, but I also shed pain, doubt, fear, old versions of me, and everything that tried to convince me I was finished. I was never defined by a number on a scale…. big or small, I was always worthy, always beautiful, always HER. But this time, I chose to fight my way back to the woman I knew was still inside me.

Through every storm, every loss, every tear, every setback and every breakthrough. I gained something too: strength, wisdom, boundaries, purpose, and a deeper love for myself. I may have lost people, gained pounds, lost pieces of myself and had to rebuild from the ground up… but I NEVER lost the woman in me.

She was just buried beneath survival.
Now she’s uncovered.
She’s protected.
She’s blessed.
She’s healing.
She’s glowing.
And she is NEVER going back.

THIS ISN’T JUST A WEIGHT-LOSS JOURNEY.
THIS IS A COMEBACK.
THIS IS GRIEF TURNED INTO GROWTH.
THIS IS SURVIVAL TURNED INTO POWER.
THIS IS ME… COMING HOME TO ME.

And if you thought the old me was something to see…
wait until you meet the woman who survived everything that was supposed to break her.

Chapter 42. ✨

42 years of lessons.
42 years of growth.
42 years of strength.
42 years of becoming her.

I’ve survived heartbreak, motherhood, grief, disappointment, losses, & storms that could’ve broken me. Instead, they built me. Not everyone knows what it took to wear this smile, but every scar, lesson, tear, and prayer brought me here.
I’m not celebrating age.
I’m celebrating survival.
I never thought she’d make it through… yet here I am. Celebrating more life🙌🏼🎉

This year isn’t just about another birthday. It’s about celebrating the strength it took to get here.
Cheers to another year of grace, purpose, and being THAT girl. 🥂🎂👑

Still STANDING.
Still HEALING.
Still GLOWING.
Still HER.

Happy Birthday to Me. 🥂👑🎂✨

Behind this heart is a woman who fought battles she never spoke about publicly. Grief, motherhood, healing, survival… and somehow she still found her way back to HERself.🤍✨🙌🏼 by @mspreciousj
