To my baby girl, who is now 3… Happy Birthday 💞

I don’t even know where to start.

When I was pregnant with you, I was extremely scared because I felt like I wasn’t ready… even though everyone kept telling me I would be a good mother. From the moment I saw your ultrasound, I prayed to have a girl with the same sign as me 😂 it might sound silly, but it came true. I got everything I asked for when I got you.

The first time I felt you move, it was scary but also so cute at the same time. From that moment on, everything started changing.

You being here has changed the way I think. You’ve given me patience and taught me how to be soft. I used to work so much and worry that I would miss your firsts—your first roll over, your first crawl, your first steps, even your first words. But being your mom has been the greatest experience of my life.

You gave me a love I never knew I needed. After my dad passed, I didn’t smile for a long time… but when you got here, I couldn’t stop.

You are my everything—my heart, my best friend. You see me when I’m emotional, when I’m trying to grow, when I’m trying to be the best version of myself for you. Because at the end of the day, all I have is you… and all you have is me and your god mommy.

I’m so glad you made me a mommy, because you changed my life for the better in ways you won’t understand right now… but one day you will.
