the in breath/out breath element of Waldorf education is the one I think translates the most seamlessly to any and every educational setting. we all do it a little differently and call it something different, but the organic human nature of breathing reminds educators that the ebb and flow of energy in class is also natural! #explore #teacher #teaching #waldorf #middleschool by @msrosyruns

looping doesn’t work for everyone, but when it does it’s pure magic and trust! it’s a system that’s integral to the Waldorf method and I absolutely understand why! I personally think a 2 year loop could work as a standard for teaching in the US, do you? having the same class/teacher duo for 2 years creates incredibly strong bonds! #explore #teacher #teaching #school #waldorf by @msrosyruns

sometimes the simplest answer is the best answer. an adult sticker chart has improved my life drastically and has helped me stay accountable with my mobility and recovery habits in a way I was simply not doing on my own. is this something you might pick up? #explore #teacher #teaching #waldorf #school by @msrosyruns

it can be so hard to pass off tasks and ask for help as a teacher, but finding friends and loved ones who are willing to jump in for a 20-30 minute period of time is so important. I was kind of obsessive about my classroom but if I’d been willing to let people help me, I would’ve saved SO much time. Teachers, would you be able to outsource to friends and family? Friends and family, would you be willing to help out on occasion? I bet we have more people ready to support us than we even know! #explore #teacher #teaching #waldorf #classroom by @msrosyruns

preparing and decorating a Waldorf classroom is such a special part of the job! today I spent time in a rising 5th grade classroom where my friend will teach this year. working together to prep her room felt so good and we got every task done!! will be doing this every year if people let me! let me know what you want to know about a Waldorf classroom, school year, or supply! #explore #teacher #teaching #classroom #waldorf by @msrosyruns

I’m a critical engager and typically have strong opinions on all forms of media, so if you want more of this (movies, books, music, shows) pls let me know! #explore #teacher #odyssey #theodyssey #filmreview by @msrosyruns

Let’s talk casting!! I fully disagree with the casting choices in this movie simply because I think too many of them were too famous and aren’t used to being part of an ensemble cast! Too many standalone stars next to each other does not create a cohesive group, it creates an awkward dynamic where no one is very successful. What did you think?

part 2 of the timeline discussion! I had a lot of issues with the lack of character development by way of leaving out plot points!!!! not everyone knows every detail of the story and that’s why you need plenty of context!!! this version gave us NONE! #explore #teacher #odyssey #theodyssey #filmreview by @msrosyruns

part 1 of the overview of what I consider the main shortcomings of the timeline represented on screen. this doesn’t even TOUCH the Trojan war or calypso because that’s a longer convo, but it’s one I am absolutely willing to have! #explore #teacher #odyssey #theodyssey #filmreview by @msrosyruns
