It’s that time of year again… THANK YOU to everyone who continues to make Christmas Cheer possible year after year! We couldn’t do it without you and we are truly grateful! For those who don’t know, Christmas Cheer is an annual event where we sponsor families that are less fortunate than we are, by providing gifts and a dinner basket that they would not have without us.

Our Christmas Cheer family will be sponsoring 24 children this year...8 scholars from Ms. Burke’s 3rd Grade Class at Patterson Elementary School in SE, Washington, DC, and their siblings. As always, we will need A LOT of help to pull this off!

Using the money I receive through financial donations, I will be purchasing coats, winter accessories, outfits and a tablet or other age-appropriate electronic learning device for each of the children, as well as all the food items for the dinner baskets for the families.

For those of you that would like to purchase gifts online, please use our Christmas Cheer gift registry on Amazon by clicking the link in my bio or searching “Christmas Cheer XIII” on Amazon. This will allow us to track what’s been purchased and what is still needed. The registry should only include items that will arrive by Saturday, December 20th.

We will be wrapping gifts on Saturday, December 20th from 2pm - 6pm. If you would like to help wrap gifts, please contact me directly!

Here’s an idea of how your financial contributions will help our families:

$1,000 will sponsor the winter coats and the winter accessories for 15 scholars
$500 will sponsor Christmas Cheer for a family of 2
$250 will sponsor Christmas Cheer for a scholar
$200 will sponsor the grocery gift cards for 2 families
$150 will sponsor a Christmas Dinner basket for 1 family
$100 will sponsor 1 scholar’s tablet
$50 will sponsor 1 scholar’s outfit
$25 will sponsor a toy for 1 scholar

All support is appreciated, whether it’s a financial donation of ANY amount, purchasing gifts on the registry, sharing this information with family and friends and/or simply whispering a prayer! by @mss_major
