Release postponed! 😭
It’s been announced that the release of the *The Nightmare Before Christmas* Be@rbrick "Chase" series—originally scheduled for October 24th—has been pushed back to December. 😭
I’m not sure if this is a strategic move—perhaps they decided it makes more sense to release it closer to Christmas (given the title) rather than before Halloween—or if there’s simply a production delay. Either way, I think a pre-Halloween release would have been perfect. This is the complete set for Be@rbrick Series 46. The undisputed highlight of this series is the "Super Secret" figure by Edgar Plans; it trades at an exceptionally high price, even compared to other figures in the Series 40 range. The lineup also features many other compelling designs, such as the angel and devil characters from SAINT Mxxxxxx (created by Los Angeles-based artist Cali Thornhill Dewitt), Sonic, Kamen Rider, and graphics by Jon Burgerman. An unopened box of Be@rbrick Series 30! I hadn't owned a single piece from Series 30 before—perhaps it just wasn't in the cards—but since there were so many designs I wanted, I decided to buy a completely sealed box and enjoy the thrill of opening it, even though it was a bit pricey. As for the results... I was thrilled to pull the Oakley design, which has a 1/192 rarity! (Among the secret figures, it was the one I wanted most after Grendizer!) I also managed to get the "White Panther" secret figure with its flocked leopard-print finish. If I had to be greedy, I would have loved to get the Gackey-kun secret figure and Grendizer as well! But that’s asking for too much; I think I got a really great box. By the way, Series 30 is a fantastic series to open because it features six different "Secret" category figures (each with a 0.52% pull rate); buying a single box gives you a very high 6/8 chance of landing one of these rare secrets, so I highly recommend giving it a try. Even the "Basic" figure comes with a gimmick where the tires pop out—a level of generosity you wouldn't see in products today. It’s a special series in many ways: the "Flag" design is a "Big Catch" flag (*tairyo-bata*) rather than a national flag, and the small boxes are taller than usual.#bearbrick #oakley #medicomtoy #仮面女子 #ted by @mstbricks

There are quite a few people who collect only specific categories within the Be@rbrick series. While I don't collect every single one, I focus particularly on the horror category; I also know many people—especially women—who collect only the Jellybean or Flag designs. Although I hadn't kept any Jellybean models in the past, I recently discovered their appeal and have started collecting the ones I like, focusing mainly on multicolored versions. The items in this photo are ones that remind me of a rainbow. They all trade at relatively high prices for Jellybean models (with the exception of the latest release, Series 52). I love how beautiful the clear parts look when the light hits them. recently opened 24 sealed boxes of Series 12, allowing me to acquire the figures I was missing and finally complete the set. It is a full collection of Series 12. The secret figures feature a lineup heavily influenced by street fashion, sneakers, and soccer—including collaborations with UNDEFEATED, Nike’s Joga Bonito, TWELVEBAR, Maharishi, and Roen. As you can see when lining them all up, there is a predominance of black and dark tones! It is a series that really emphasizes an eerie vibe, featuring designs like H.R. Giger (the Swiss artist) for the Sci-Fi category and *Saw* for the Horror category. With the cute Roen bear and the 15th-anniversary secret figure included, I think it is a fantastic series where every item is a winner. The "Batman: The Dark Knight Trilogy" series of Be@rbricks has been released. Unsurprisingly, the Joker was the most popular, followed by Batman. As is always the case, Catwoman didn't prove very popular. The secret figure is almost entirely black—making it hard to make out details in photos—but it has a terrifying appearance. Having not seen the movies, I’m not sure exactly what it is. Another figure with a low inclusion rate is the version of Batman from *The Dark Knight*. The BE@RBRICK CHASE series scheduled for release in October features *The Nightmare Before Christmas*! While there have been 400% sets and 2-packs released previously, this is the first time it’s appearing as a "blind-box" (closed-box) series. This is a complete set from Be@rbrick Series 24. I find this series incredibly distinctive, and personally, I love it. It includes globally popular brands like Neighborhood and PHANTACI, as well as iconic characters such as Batman, Felix the Cat, and Snoopy. My personal favorites are the two TAROUT figures featuring fluffy black and white material. The flocking finish is omitted only on the face, cleverly capturing the look of a child wearing a Be@rbrick-shaped costume. TAROUT is a talented artist who also designed digital stickers for Fendi. I’m also fond of the “AA=“ super-secret figure. Its name is derived from the phrase “All Animals Are Equal” from George Orwell’s 1945 novel *Animal Farm*, and it features a cynical design of a pig dressed up like a human. Then there’s the Gekidan Inu Curry Be@rbrick.colorful yet eerie, making it perfect for Halloween! This design unit gained huge popularity for their spatial design work on the anime *Puella Magi Madoka Magica*. Influenced by vintage Russian and Czech art animation and the avant-garde theater troupe Tenjo Sajiki, their style creates a fantastical yet slightly grotesque atmosphere.
