Finding Harmony Finale at Queen's House - Highlights 🎵

Our 10-week Singing for Wellbeing programme brought the Black community together through music to support mental health and connection. The Finale included an additional Singing session plus a Art Wellbeing talk and activity led by @creativedimensionart from @thecollectivemakers

Weekly workshops at Woolwich Works led to this finale at Queen’s House - @royalmuseumsgreenwich

Everyone’s A Singer is delighted to be participating in Grow Music’s business support programme, launched by @bpi_music (British Phonographic Industry) and London & Partners which is “bringing together the UK’s world-leading music industry and a range of innovative companies to help usher in the next generation of music innovation.”

Beyond the Bassline: 500 Years of Black British Music - The Book 📚

Congratulations to Dr. Aleema Gray and Mykaell Riley on the launch of the “Beyond the Bassline: 500 Years of Black British Music” exhibition.

‘I appreciate the opportunity to contribute to the exhibitions accompanying book. You can find my chapter alongside contributions from music and cultural pioneers, historians, poets, musicians and journalists. My chapter on Bristol’s Bamboo Club (a 1960’s/70’s club) allowed me to learn more about Bristol’s Caribbean community, the pioneers who shaped the city’s music, community and Politics.

A special thank you also goes to the editor, Paul Bradshaw.’ - Tracy Durrant (@everyonesasinger director)

The exhibition is open until August 26, 2024, along with a programme of related events.
