P652 at an iconic place where it all began for Panna.
T1, introduced at Panna in 2009 to revive the tiger population gave birth to cubs at this very place. Seems like history repeats itself with P652 and its cubs at the same place. P652 has lost 1 or 2 of its litters earlier and it's special to see Her protecting them at a special place, the vulture point, at Panna. by @msubbu0

Subadult of P141, Panna.
Times like this are why being in the wild is exciting.

We were moving around looking for this subadult, and spotted strolling casually towards a small check dam. The next 30 mins was just magic. From sipping water from a small puddle to checking the surroundings, marking it's territory and then this final leap!!!

Kudos to @raikwar_rk_panna and @monusen81 for positioning the vehicle anticipating this moment. Unhindered view amongst a few vehicles, and just an amazing moment.

Thank you Priyansha for the awesome trip. by @msubbu0

They say when it rains, it stripes. June trip of Panna was the one with most sightings. This was the last Safari, we were up the hill with P142 and her cubs behind the dried shrubs munching the last of their kill. They started moving and our driver and guide predicted them to be at this stream. Took 20-30 mins to get here and they were resting happily. The interactions were wholesome!

Thank you Dr. Priyansha for this trip. by @msubbu0

Subadult tiger at Panna, relaxing in a pond in sweltering heat! This was a nice surprise and perfect position to get this.
Thank you Dr. Priyansha for sharing your knowledge and helping us grow one step at a time, every safari. by @msubbu0

This was an exciting day at Tadoba, Navegaon gate. This male, name Yuvraj, was chasing its partner and in the chaos of safari jeeps, lost sight of the tigress and went about searching, calling out. This was right when it snarled at the jeeps and crossed mine. Close enough to pullback into the seat 😁

Scroll for a surprise closeup.

Deep growls, calling out the tigress.

Then following the scent and rushing.

Red soil, dry and dusty.

A wonderful trip in Jan 2026 with Dr. Priyansha.

Silent Authority 🐅

No roar.
No rush.
Just a stare that says everything.

Black naped monarch (corrected ID) protecting it's best from serpent eagle.

Panna, June 2026.

Just as we were exiting the forests after an immensely satisfying set of safaris, we spotted this serpent eagle perched on the side just above water, watching up. Took a few minutes to realise what was happening. The male flycatcher attacking the serpent eagle and the female quietly guarding it's neat above. by @msubbu0
