For the last 5 years, Drew has given every ounce of blood sweat and tears to this team. This season he served Darkhorse as captain and led the team to regionals for the 4th year in a row. Multiple seasons in a row, Drew has led the team in every stat category imaginable including: D’s, Assists, and a whopping 104 +/- on this season. As a 5 year Darkhorse member, Dallas Legion, Atlanta Hustle, Alliance, and Dallas Brawl player, Drew has proved himself to be one of the most frisbee-addicted players Darkhorse has ever seen.

There’s a saying on the Darkhorse sideline, “yeah I wouldn’t throw it near that guy.” Drew Laird has proven time and time again why he is the best player on the field and that is why he is receiving Darkhorse Nomination for the Callahan Award for 2026.

Laissez les bons temps rouler! 🎷 A 5th-place finish and a 5-2 record at Mardi Gras is a serious feat—that’s a lot of winning amidst the chaos of the French Quarter.
Here are a few options for your post, ranging from “game mode” to “party mode”:
The “Stat-Heavy” Leaderboard

The Punny & Festive
• We came for the trophy, stayed for the beignets. 5-2 on the weekend! 🍩
• Throwing down in the Throws. 5th place finish at Mardi Gras! beads
• Caught some wins and some beads. 5-2 in NOLA. 🎭✨
• Mardi Gras Mambo’d our way to a 5-2 record. 💃
Short & Punchy
• 5-2. 5th Place. 100% NOLA. ⚜️
• Beads, Beignets, and Big Wins.
• King Cake calories don’t count when you go 5-2. 👑
