Thank You 32!

As the season wraps up we want to say thank you to all of the time, effort, and passion that went into #32 from not only our members but from our sponsors and supporters. 32 was an amazing learning experience as the team improves on the EV platform. There were many things to learn from this season that offer a good insight on what to expect to design an even better car next season.

The Toronto Shootout marks the 4th and last event of the season. The team was able to fly through tech inspection providing a great amount of time for data gathering and refining, setting us up for success and guiding our approach for our upcoming season between both car and events.

A Special Thanks to Michigan Scientific for letting us borrow their Wheel Force Transducer this last weekend. The transducer allowed the team to measure the tire contact patch loads to validate our tire models. Giving our suspension system the real life data they need to improve their suspension design for the loads along our suspension linkages. This information is vital for team development, so thank you for all of your support!

This past week MSU Formula Racing was invited to visit IMTS in Chicago! This was an incredible experience for the team to understand the scale, innovation, and opportunities that manufacturing has to offer. This past weekend MSU Formula Racing went to the Oakland Grand Prix; our 3rd event of the season! The team did an exceptional job getting the car prepared and running for this event, putting in some good lap times on the autocross track!
