This is how I am able to use my phone 100% independently when I’m NOT in my chair. @gettecla I don’t have to be in my chair to use my phone, this Tecla and adaptive switch can be used anywhere with the light touch of my thumb. There’s nothing like being able to shop and order food while cozy in bed.🤣 #technology #bestthingever #freedom #disabilityawareness #sma #independence #assistivetechnology #tecla #iphone #bluetoothtechnology by @mswheels13

This is how I do it. @gettecla is one of the greatest inventions ever! Before Tecla was around, I had to rely on others to help me use my phone, which meant I had no privacy lol, but now I am able to operate EVERY APP on my phone 100% independently just by using my thumb to control the Tecla that is connected via Bluetooth to my chair/joystick.🤍 #disabilityawareness #adaptiveaccessories #technology #innovations #accessibility #independence #sma #tecla #wheelchair #iphone #ilovetechnology by @mswheels13

Today I had to say goodbye to my sweet Jagger. 💔 He would have been 15 on October 15, and my heart is completely 😢

The last couple of weeks were so hard on him. He was having seizures and wasn’t doing well, and I knew it was time to let my sweet boy rest.

Jagger had the gentlest, sweetest soul. For five years, he volunteered with me at the VA hospital, bringing love and comfort to so many people. I was so lucky to have him by my side for almost 15 years.

Run free over the Rainbow Bridge, my beautiful boy. 🌈🐾 I hope you know how deeply you were loved. I will miss you forever💔😢 by @mswheels13
