The search is finally over, and I couldn’t be happier! Years I’ve dedicated to chasing a brown trout of this caliber, putting countless miles into my memory as I drove, walked, and ran across the state of Montana. All for a brown over two feet long. The irony of this journey is strong as, the spot where I finally pulled creature like this was in my very own back yard where I first learned how to fly fish. It feels like destiny, and a touch of unbelievable luck. #25 #twofooter #brown #trout #fly #fishing #browntrout #flyfishing thank you @galloupsslideinn for the fly! #silkkittystreamer @troutgoods taken in Gallatin River by @mt.flats
